​Matchbox Altering Tips​

Let's explore different decorating options with a variety of embellishments. Buttons, ribbons, rhinestones, flat back cabochons and thousands of other embellishments will help to start building upon the blank canvas of your matchbox. To follow are some general ideas with different matchbox mediums.

Buttons

Button designs have come a long way since the standard round button.  From pops of color to 3D dimension, regardless if you are using the good old fashioned round buttons for a vintage feel or fun 3D novelty buttons, the end result will be inspired by your own creative imagination.

Rhinestones

Rhinestone stickers are a great way to easily add some "bling" to your altered matchboxes.  Regardless if you are going for a vintage feel or pop art style, these sparkling gems will add that extra twinkle to help brighten someone's day.
